Art Deco chrome-plated and red enameled cocktail seltzer siphon designed by Norman Bel Geddes.
Bel Geddes was the famous designer from the 1920s and 1930s.
An example of this syphon design is in the Brooklyn Museum, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, & The Museum Of Modern Art.
Found on pages 92-93 of Vintage Bar Ware by Stephen Visakay. 10" tall.
Stamped on the bottom (forming a ring) is "Walter Kidde Sales Co. Inc. Bloomfield, N.J. Designer Norman Bel Geddes. Pat. 20535/others Pend. Made in USA. Soda King Syphon."
Excellent/Excellent display condition. Interior is clean and shows no sign of wear. We don't know about gaskets, cartridges, etc. So we are selling this as a museum-worthy display piece.
