This hard to find, if not rare, blown glass cocktail shaker was made by Bryce Brothers in 1924 (before Prohibition was even repealed).
The pattern name is Block Optic. It has a cobalt base, a crystal body and a hammered silver plate top and cap.
Designed by Elmer Bell for Bryce Brothers Co. of Mt Pleasant Pennsylvania. Measures 9.5 inches tall to the top of the spout cap. Has a built in strainer and pull off /push on spout cap. The silver plate has some light wear, normal for a piece of this age.
The cork is original. Photo attached - Also a photo from the original Patent design application.
